Workflow for isolating viable human central nervous system immune cells in STAR Protocols

This method provides a workflow for isolating primary microglia, B cells, and T cells from human central nervous system (CNS) samples. The protocol outlines standardized procedures for extracting immune cells from multiple CNS compartments, including brain samples, choroid plexus, leptomeninges, dura mater, cerebrospinal fluid (CSF). Relevant downstream applications include cell sorting, RNA sequencing, and functional assays using primary cultures.
