Netherlands Neurogenomics Database

The Netherlands Neurogenomics Database (NND) provides access to deeply characterized human brain donor data from the Netherlands Brain Bank. The NND was developed to facilitate cross-diagnostic research across neurodegenerative and psychiatric disorders. The goal is to facilitate research into brain disorders by integration of clinical, neuropathological and genetics information. The NND provides access to carefully curated clinical and neuropathological data derived from deeply characterized NBB brain donors. The platform allows researchers to the explore rich, multi-layered datasets through intuitive and interactive interfaces and visualizations.

Organisation & funding

The project involves multiple members of the Netherlands Brain Bank team at the Netherlands Institute for Neuroscience and is carried out in close collaboration with Dr. Inge R. Holtman, Rosalind Franklin Fellow, and her research group at the University Medical Center Groningen, department of Biomedical Sciences.
